It will take place simultaneously with Hispack in October 2021

Alimentaria FoodTech will return to the trade fair calendar from the 19th to the 22nd of October 2021 with the aim of boosting commercial activity, business opportunities, and exports of equipment, technology and intermediate food and beverage products in an economic context which is expected to be more favorable.

The event will take place in Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue (hall 1 and part of hall 2) coinciding with Hispack, Europe’s leading trade fair for the packaging sector.

In 2021, Alimentaria FoodTech will reinforce its essence as an industry-wide trade fair which will showcase machinery and technology for processing, preservation, food safety, industry 4.0, refrigeration, handling and ingredients for the food and beverage industry.

The benchmark trade fair in Spain is committed to growing internationally and promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, food safety, and the digital transformation of companies through its exhibitors and knowledge-transfer activities.

Alimentaria FoodTech aims to set the stage for the revival of the sectors it represents. For its director, Ricardo Márquez, the second half of next year ‘will be the ideal time for the event to accompany the growth of the sector and reaffirm itself as a key cornerstone for the relaunch and visibility of this strategic industry’.

At the same time, Alimentaria FoodTech is working to add new digital proposals to its traditional face-to-face format, which will allow access to a wider international market in order to boost equipment and technology exports. Various webinars, chats, meetings and online meetings, among other interactive activities, will offer new business opportunities to add value to the physical experience, which will continue to be the majority at the event.
